We're BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well it has certainly been quite a LONG time since my last post and i'm soooo HAPPY to announce i'm BACK to blogging and in creating action once again!!!! Yay!!

 Just a quick little note before i fill you in on all the goodness coming.. The store has indeed been closed now for 5 months and i can hardly believe it! There are so many days that i think of the store and all our wonderful customers and simply just MISS IT SO MUCH!!! I miss seeing so many of your joyful faces so often!! Sometimes it just seems so surreal to me to even think of Made For Memories being closed. My Mom and i created so many amazing memories there and made so many amazing friends. We talk about so many of you often and just wonder how you're all doing? If you're still checking our blog for updates, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE drop us a comment ever so often just to even say hi. We sure do miss ya'll!!

Well as for me...  i can hardly believe Jaxson will be 7 months old this month. The times has literally FLOWN by! i'm enjoying Motherhood SO MUCH!! i can't even describe to you the amount of joy this precious child brings me. Jaxson is the most amazingly happy, sweetest, adorable baby boy EVER and i am totally smitten by him!! i haven't done to much creating in the past 7 months since i've been so focused on being a Mommy. i think i've only done just a few layouts here and there for Jaxson's baby album, which i'm already WAY behind on. i have definitely missed creating that's for sure and i've finally been getting my mojo back lately and boy does it feel good!!

Ok so now onto Scrapbooking stuff.. =D  I've been creating some 12x12 page kits that will be for sale. With the Holidays fast approaching i will have lots more kits to choose from as well, but for now here are two kits that are for sale as we speak. i'm still working out how i'll be doing the ordering process of these kits but they will more then likely be on our Made For Memories website with a spot to place your orders. The end is here...

Yes, the end is here and this week is nothing but bittersweet for us. This will be the very last week Made For Memories will ever be open.

Our doors will lock up for good this Saturday at 5:00pm.

We once again Thank You all for blessing us with your friendship and support. It's been 10 amazing years of business! We are sad to say goodbye but we look so forward to what the future holds for us.

We will still continue to have our website and blog and send out email updates too. We'll also still be selling specialty items off our website. Stay tuned for an email in a few weeks to come with more information once we have closed and settled the nest.

Please come in this week and Bid Farewell to us one last time if you get the chance. We will miss you all dearly!

Tampa Bay Scrapbook Treasure Hunt

February 26th - March 7th 2010

Cost: Passport Package Fee is $10.00, which includes passport, bead necklace, maps/directions/store info booklet and a 6x6 album. Each store will provide a free 6x6 Make n' Take Layout and a customer store tag to hang from your necklace.

Requirements: Customers are required to spend a $5.00 minimum in each store in order to receive the stamp on their passport. Customers will receive a 10% off discount on all purchases during this event.

Prizes: All participants who complete the Treasure Hunt and return their stamped passports, will be entered into a Grand Prize drawing.

1st Place Prize: $100.00 Gift Certificate to each store (See TH website for more details)

 

Passports are now available for Pre-Sale. The totes bags will be in within a few weeks once they are stuffed with all the goodies!! So, call the store any time to pre-order your Passport, quantity is limited on these so don't wait to long to sign up.

New Year. New Beginnings.

It's a New Year and with this New Year God is closing one door in our lives and yet he's opening a new one to new beginnings. Many of you received our News Years Announcement email but if you haven't heard our news yet, or have heard it through the grapevine, i am here to confirm all rumors for you. i hesitated posting our news on the blog for awhile only because it makes the news so real and true for me. i am so sad to announce that we will indefinitely be closing Made For Memories the end of March. My Mother and i have been battling this decision for awhile, yet we have made it with such peace in our hearts! We truly believe God is leading us all to other things at the moment. Though there are reasons behind our decision, and many of you have asked Why? Our main reason is we remain committed to our family, and nothing is more important to us then family. My Husband and i have been wanting to relocate back to the Nashville area for awhile now and with our first baby due any day now, the timing has just seemed so right for us (and i know my parents won't be far behind us) ; ) but add that to my families battle with health issues this year between my Father and my 91 year old Grandmother, its been a tough year for my mother. Bless her heart she has been stretched so thin being back and forth between life and the store. We just agreed that it was time to move on and move forward especially to new beginnings as a new life enters our world! What a better time for my Mother to be able to enjoy life and time as a new Grandmother!! We've had an AMAZING 10 year run of an incredible business and have built so many friendships along the way. We are so greatful!! We will truly treasure all the memories and all the wonderful moments we have shared with so many of you along the way. Thank you all for friendship and continued loyal support for our beloved store over the years! As this is a sad time in our lives we are celebrating the next 2 1/2 months as we look forward to and prepare for the next chapter in our lives to begin.

 
We have been so overwhelmed by all the out pouring of love you have given us. The Flowers, the phone calls and flooded emails, you have filled our hearts with such joy with all your kind words of and amazing gestures! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
